On January 22nd, around 10:50 in the evening, Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of South Kentucky and West Broadway. The driver had disobeyed a a traffic signal and almost hit the police patrol car. Upon contact with the driver, his information was relayed to dispatch. Dispatch advised that the driver had a suspended license out of the state of Texas and no Missouri driver's license. Arrested at the scene was 46-year old Joe Fernandez Jr. for careless driving and driving while suspended. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Around 8:27 in the evening of January 22nd, in the 1800 block of South Lamine avenue, there was a reported disturbance. The investigation revealed one subject had a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County for an original charge of domestic assault in the 3rd degree. 28-year old Jasper Tyrone Johnson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond set at $5,000.00 cash or surety.

Around 8:45 in the morning of January 22nd, 52-year old Juan Pablo Uribe was arrested for driving while suspended and a misdemeanor identity theft. He was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.

On January 21st, around 9:30 in the morning, Sedalia Police took a report of fraud at Fischer's Concrete located at 2300 Clinton Road. The complaintint stated that a supect in the Kansas City area had been buying items on the business account. The purchases were discovered before Fischer's Concrete gave them any money. There were no other details in that police report.

Also, around 9:30 in the morning on January 21st, in the 1900 block of East Broadway, police officers took a report of a burglary. The reporting party stated that 2-rolls of copper wiring had been stolen from his residence sometime between Janaury 20th and January 21st. The investigation is ongoing....

On January 23rd, around 2:17 in the afternoon, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop near East 7th Street and South Ohio. Upon contact with the driver, her information was relayed to dispatch. Dispatch advised that her driving privlages had been suspended. Arrested at the scene was 51-year old Susan M. Schmieg and transported to the Pettis County Jail. With a court date of March 2nd.

On January 22nd, Sedalia Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart at 3201 West Broadway, to investigate a reported theft. Asset Protection personell had two suspects detained. The complaintint stated the two suspect's were placing items in a cart and then placing their coats over the items. The suspects attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The total value of the items taken was placed at $689.90. Police arrested 43-year old Jill K. Banks and a 33-year old woman for shoplifting. Both suspect's were transported to the Pettis County Jail.

On Janaury 23rd, around 10:30 in the morning, in the 1900 block of South Harrison Avenue, Sedalia Police took a report of another theft. The victim stated that two propane tanks for his motor home had been stolen. The value of each propane tank was placed at $60.00. There are no suspects in the case.

On January 23rd, Pettis County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Mary K. Casto in the area of Prospect Avenue and 9th Street, for an outstanding Pettis County warrant.
On Janaury 19th, Deputies arrested Eric Smith for 3 outstanding warrants out of Dallas County.
On January 22nd, deputies arrested Brianna Rogers on an active Cooper County warrant.
On January 24th, deputies arrested Stephanie Wiseman on a Pettis County warrant.
