Early in the morning of March 2nd, around 2:45, in the area of Clinton Road and South Grand Avenue, Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop. Upon contact with the occupants, the odor of marijuana was detected. The vehicle was searched and officers discovered marijuana and methanphetimine, along with related drug paraphenalia. Arrested at the scene was 20 year old Trevor D. Payne, of Warsaw, for various drug-related charges. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Around 8:30 in the evening on March 2nd, in the 1300 block of East 3rd Street, officers took a report of property damage. The complaintint stated someone had shot-out his work van's windows with a paintball gun. The van belonged to Four Seasons Living Center, in Sedalia. The estimate of the damage will depend on an insurance estimate. There were no further details listed in that police report.

 

On March 1st, Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 1600 block of South Grand regarding a warrant service. Deputies arrested James Robert Cambell, of Sedalia, on a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail where he is being held with no bond.

 
Also, on March 1st, deputies responded to the 200 block of Thompson Avenue and arrested Joshua Madison Morrill, of Windsor, on a warrant for a parole violation. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, with no bond.
