Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department Crime Reports for March 8, 2016

Around 9:40 in the evening on March 7, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South Washington, in reference to a gun-shot victim. The victim appeared to have multiple gun-shot wounds. Pettis County Ambulance District transported the victim to a Columbia Hospital. No further details available at this time and the investigation is ongoing....

On March 5, Pettis County Sheriff's deputies arrested Stephen Owusu Ansah, of Warrensburg, in the area of 24th Street and Clinton Road for possesion of marijuana and drug paraphenalia.

52-year old Gina M. Glough was arrested by deputies on March 7th for a felony probation and parole warrant, in Sedalia.

Pettis County deputies arrested 18-year old Kelsey E. Van Vickle, of Sedalia, for endangering a correction officer/employee of the Pettis County Jail, on March 7th.

Around 8:20 in the evening on March 6, Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the area of 4^th Street and Limit Avenue, in reference to a subject who was nude and running in the roadway. The suspect was taken into protective custody and was evaluated at Bothwell Regional Health Center. It was discovered that he was under the influence of synthetic marijuana. 23-year old Yevgeniy Surguy was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending sobriety.

Around 6:30 in the evening on March 5, in the 3400 block of West Broadway, officers took a report of a theft. The victim stated that while he was in the restroom at Break Time, someone had stolen his iPhone 6 Plus. The victim then went to Radio Shack to obtain information about the phone for the police report. There are no suspects and no further details were listed in the police report.

Around 11:00 in the morning on March 5, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 13^th Street and South Massachusettes Avenue. 37-year old Christian D. Marsch was arrested for a suspended license. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.
