Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department Crime Reports for the Evening of July 18, 2016

Around 9:00 Monday morning (June 18), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of East 16th Street and South Barrett Avenue, for a driver who was revoked. 55-year old Walter J. Combes was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

Sedalia Police officers took a report of propery damage in the 600 block of North Ohio Avenue. The complainant stated that someone had spray-painted graffiti on the side of Dollar General Store, sometime overnight. The damage is estimated at $200.00. There were no further details listed in that report.

On Monday (June 18), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the 23000 block of Sacajawea Road, in reference to a stolen pick-up truck. Deputies made contact with the reporting party, who stated that a company truck had been stolen from the lot, sometime over the weekend. The investigation is ongoing....
