On January 13th, Pettis County Deputies arrested 30-year-old Leslie Rae Fenton at the Pettis County Sheriff's Office on two outstanding warrants out of Sedalia and Cole Camp.

Early in the morning on January 11th, Sedalia Police officers were investigating a disturbance in the 1300 block of South Carr Avenue. A search revealed marijuana wax, marijuanna, a digital scale, multiple smoking devices, and $1,048.00 cash. Arrested was 18 year old Whitney S. Martz for possession of marijuana, intent to distribute, and drug paraphenalia. 21 year old Nicholas Huerta was also arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphenalia. State charges are pending.

Just before noon, on January 13th, Sedalia Police arrested Jason S. Geiler and transported him to the Pettis County Jail on a warrant out of Johnson County. Bond was set at $50.00 cash only.

Around 1:30 in the afternoon on Januarty 13th, officers were disptached to the Children's Divison on Westwood Avenue. 23 year old Jeremiah Joseph Schaffer was arrested for an active warrant for endangering the welfare of a child in the 1st degree, out of Carroll County. Bond was set at $25,000.00 cash or surety.

On January 11th, around 6:45 that evening, officers took a report of theft at Menards, located at 4400 Wisconsin Drive. According to employees, the male subject attempted to return an item from inside the store. The employee stated they could not make the return without a receipt. The subject then took the item and left without paying. The value of the taken item was placed at $26.99. The subject came back the next day, however, and attempted to return the item again. Police were notified and upon arrival, conducted an interview with the subject who admitted to taking the item. Arrested at the scene was 35-year old Tony L. Everts. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $533.50 bond, cash or surety.

On January 12th, Sedalia Police took a report of theft of a 20-foot flatbed trailer from Waterloo Drive. The value of the trailer was placed at $2000.00. There are no suspects or witnesses at this time.

Around 8:57 in the morning of January 12th, in the 1300 block of West Broadway, police conducted a vehicle check. The vehicles plate numbers and other information were run through dispatch. And the information came back that the vehicle had been stolen from a church in Morgan County. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the investigation continues.

Around 11:33 in the morning, on January 11th, in the 500 block of North Summitt, Sedalia Police took a report of a burglary. The victim stated someone had forced entry into the residence and the detached garage. A large amount of power tools were reported missing. The investigation is ongoing....

Late in the evening on January 11th, around 11:46, Police conducted another check on a vehicle parked near Centennial Park. Upon contact, the driver of the vehicle consented to a search. Police officers discovered a large quantity of marijuana. Arrested at the scene was 21-year old Tyler G. Halderman on state charges of possession of marijuana and intent to distribute near a park. Halderman was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
