Sedalia Police Receive Report of Bricks Being Thrown From Overpass

Sedalia Police went to the Katy Trail Overpass, near Broadway and Ingram, on a report of somebody throwing bricks off the overpass. Sedalia Police received a call of a close call, but there were not suspects at the scene, when they investigated.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Hit & Run

A woman reported to Sedalia Police on Wednesday (Aug. 13), that she was walking in the Salvation Army parking lot, at 1305 South Limit, when a car backed up and struck her. The driver left the scene. The victim complained of pain in the right arm, but didn't require medical attention on the scene.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A woman in the 1000 Block of South Barrett reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole money from her locked car on Thursday (August 14).

A man in the 900 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items from his vehicle.

A woman in the 1800 Block of South Beacon reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed her vehicle yesterday (Aug. 14) and rubbed butter all over her windows.

Employees of the Cork N Bottle reported to Sedalia Police that someone drove off without paying $20.03 worth of fuel.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her truck was keyed and butter was smeared on the windows of her car.

A man in the 1500 Block of West 16th reported to Sedalia Police that someone egged his home.

Sedalia Police received a report of an assault in the 200 Block of West Broadway yesterday (Aug. 14).

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a report of a domestic assault in the 4500 Block of McVey Road, that occurred between July 24 and Aug. 14.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Billy Casto for failure to appear, bond set at $500.

Sedalia Police arrested Garry Sherrell for stealing from Walmart.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Jose Gonzalez for no operator's license.

Sedalia Police arrested Jason Harvey for driving while suspended.
