The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Jan. 7, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported in Area

Pettis County Deputies took a report from a man in the 28000 Block of Griessen Road that a STIHL chainsaw and a cordless drill with case, charger and battery were stolen between Dec. 30 and Jan. 5.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that a camera was stolen from his son while at Smith-Cotton High School on Jan. 4 between 9 and 11 a.m.

G&G Small Animal Hospital at 711 West Main made a report to Sedalia Police that someone broke in and removed an unknown amount of cash and checks between Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. and Jan. 4 at 8 a.m.

Sedalia Police received a report from two victims that walked into the Sedalia Police station and reported thefts from their vehicles. One victim reported $180 in items were missing and the other reported there was $40 in items missing. The thefts occurred between 8 p.m. on Dec. 26 and 7:40 a.m. on Dec. 27.

Sedalia Police went to the 500 Block of South Washington for a report of a burglary. Someone had gone through the garage between Dec. 25 and Jan. 5. The victim is not sure what had been taken.

Several Cases of Property Damage Reported

Pettis County Deputies were dispatched to 27000 Block of Rattlesnake Road in Smithton after two windows were broken out of a vehicle that was parked at the residence.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone had damaged his 2011 Chevy Camaro while parked at Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots on night of Jan. 4.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that dogs were barking in the 1000 Block of South Murray. The victim said that he had talked to the owners of the three dogs and got no help. The dogs have barked day and night since Dec. 12 and the victim requested charges to be filed on the owners of the dog.

Several Arrests Made in Area

Sedalia Police arrested Larry Washington for having a Pettis County warrant for property damage and tampering, bond set at $5,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Jaime Campbell for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Richard Adams for two charges of failure to appear in Pettis County, bond set at $250 cash/surety and $10 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Dylan Seevers for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Kimberlee Brown for having a Sedalia warrant, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Donald Knox for failure to appear for stealing, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Cary Longie for possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Dallas Carlock for driving while suspended.
