The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Department is from the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Sedalia Police Investigate an Assault

Sunday morning (Jan. 27), Sedalia Police received a report of an assault in the 300 Block of South Lamine at a night club. A victim reported to Sedalia Police that he was involved in a fight at a night club. The victim had injuries to his lower back that were consistent with being stabbed. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

Sedalia Police Investigate Identity Theft

Last night (Jan. 28), Sedalia Police went to the 1900 Block of West 3rd for a possible theft report. A woman said that accidentally gave her bank information over the phone. She was directed to cancel her account through the bank to prevent any more withdrawals.

DC Battery at 210 East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that a window was broken by an unknown object around 12:57 this morning (Jan. 9).

Sedalia Police Make Several Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Derek Lightcap for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Ronald Ballender for driving while intoxicated.

Sedalia Police arrested Alfonso Kirkwood for driving while suspended, identity theft and resisting arrest.

Sedalia Police arrested Theo Martinez for having no operator’s license.
