Several Thefts Reported In Area
A woman in the 100 Block of West 14th reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect stole money from her debit card in the amount of $655 and was assaulted as the suspect grabbed her arm. The victim had no signs of physical altercation. The victim advised that she had made a verbal agreement for the suspect to pay her back.
A 15-year-old student at Smith-Cotton High School reported to Sedalia Police that an iPhone 4S, valued at $500, was stolen yesterday (Mar. 7) between 1 and 2 p.m.
A woman in the 900 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that someone keyed her Nissan Sentra and caused $2,000 in damages to the vehicle.
Several Arrests Made In Area
Sedalia Police arrested Brian Fisher for having a warrant for assault in the 2nd degree, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Paris for having two Pettis County warrants, the first warrant had $2,000 cash bond, the second bond was set at $2,500 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Kitty Barry for failure to appear for speeding, bond set at $1,000 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Billy Hill for driving while suspended.
Pettis County Deputies arrested James Maberry for having an active warrant.
