Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center as a juvenile male was brought there for treatment and exam. The parent of the child alleged a possible sex crime was perpetrated against the child by a person known to the family.

Pettis County Deputies witnessed an assault in progress on Goodwill Chapel Road on June 29. 23-year-old Davis Woolery and 40-year-old Juan Carlos were arrested for assault.

Yesterday, Sedalia Police went to the 2300 Block of West Main to investigate a report that two children were in the care of a woman who was high on meth. The reported drug was was unfounded by Sedalia Police, however the caller admitted to damaging property in the home.

A postal worker reported to Sedalia Police that a Lab got away from a young subject on June 29 around 9:30 a.m. and bit the postal worker below the knee. The dog was quarantined at home as the shelter did not have room.

A man in the 400 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the windshield of his van between midnight and 7 p.m. on June 30.

A man in the 700 Block of East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a $120 cd player out of his vehicle, while at work on June 30 between 7 and 9:41 p.m.

A man in the 1100 Block of South Park reported to Sedalia Police that someone took his rear view mirror off his driver's side of his vehicle.

A man in the 1100 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that some items had been taken from his vehicle and his stereo console had been damaged.

A man in the 500 Block of East 14th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole beer, Gatorade, and oatmeal from a fridge between 7:30pm on on June 29 and 4:44 p.m. On July 1.

A woman in the 2200 Block of West 1st reported to Sedalia Police that someone took $20 from her vehicle between 7 p.m. On June 25 and 7:30 p.m. On June 27.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she left a gray Motorola Razr phone on the counter of Wood's Express on July 1, and when she returned it was not there.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone damaged a mailbox on morning of June 30.

Sedalia Police arrested David Slaughter for driving while suspended.
