Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Report: Morning of July 6

Yesterday morning (July 5), Sedalia Police went to West 16^th and South Limit on a report of a hit and run accident. The victim followed the vehicle in question northbound on Highway 65. The Highway Patrol got involved in the chase and stopped the vehicle north of Cedar Creek. Valerie Glenn was arrested for no proof of insurance and leaving the scene of an accident.

A woman from Kansas City reported to Sedalia Police that she was staying at the American Inn at 1217 South Limit and somebody she was staying with, stole her purse and $2,500 cash and other belongings on July 5.

A woman in the 2200 Block of East 9^th reported to Sedalia Police that a three person aluminum colored glider was stolen between Noon on July 4 and 8:30 a.m. On July 5.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of a burglary and stealing in 5600 Block of South Limit. After the investigation, Rachael Lee Marie Campbell was arrested charged with 1^st degree burglary and stealing.

Casey's at 3101 Clinton Road reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $39 gas drive off on July 4 at 10 p.m.

Murphy USA reported to Sedalia Police there was a gas drive off yesterday morning (July 5)

Sedalia Police arrested James Brost and Luke Brockhouse for stealing from Wal-Mart.
