Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Report: Morning of June 18, 2012

A woman from Windsor reported to Sedalia Police that her vehicle was stolen in the 1000 Block of East 9th between June 4 and June 17.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that tools and personal property, valued at $1,845, was stolen from a vehicle while parked on East Green Street in Smithton on night of June 16th.

A woman was at Liberty Park with other family members yesterday and she laid her cell phone on a bench and walked a short distance away, when she returned, the $500- $600 cell phone was gone.

Sedalia Police investigated two vehicles that had been vandalized in the 2000 Block of East 6th between 6pm on June 16 and 9 a.m. On June 17.

A man in the 600 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that a $200 26-inch Men’s Roadmaster 18-speed bicycle was stolen from his yard between 9pm on June 14 and 12:30 p.m. on June 15.

A 20-inch boys, black and red, Eastern Trail Digger bike, valued at $410 was stolen while at the Katy Park near the skate park area.

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his wallet was stolen while he was swimming at his friend’s home in the 1300 Block of South Carr between 2 and 9:30 a.m. on June 15.

A knife was found in the 2500 Block of Southwest Boulevard on June 16.

Dollar General at 713 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that a small plastic baggie with a green leafy substance inside, believed to be marijuana, was found in the store. Sedalia Police collected the baggie and brought it to Sedalia Police.

Sedalia Veterinary reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke in and stole a “Hot Shot Electric Prod” valued at $100 between 11 a.m. on June 13 and and 7:50 a.m. On June 15.

Murphy USA reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $40.01 gas drive off last night.

Mack’s Creek Eagle Stop Gas Station on Highway MM reported items were stolen on Saturday night.

Two women reported to Pettis County Deputies that they were assaulted in the 21000 Block of West Highway 50 on Friday night or early Saturday morning.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from Pony Path Road that someone struck a water hydrant on Friday night.

Sedalia Police arrested Jordan Gilmore for failure to appear, bond set at $30,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew Jones for a probation violation, bond set at $2,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Susan Meakins for failure to appear.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Saul Armando Lopez-Fuentes for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Kierra Baylark for stealing over $30 in items from Wal-Mart.
