Sedalia Police went to the 200 Block of East Boonville in regards to a past sexual assault between an adult and a juvenile. The investigation by Sedalia Police is still ongoing.

A woman in the 400 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that she saw two young males cut the side of her above ground pool, causing $200 in damages.

A woman in the 600 Block of West 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her apartment , stole some items, and also did damage between June 3  and 23.

A woman in the 300 Block of North Oak Street in Lamonte reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone had broke into her home and stole several items between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on June 24.  

A woman in the 1300 Block of South Grand reported to Sedalia Police that between 8 p.m. On June 20 and 10:30 p.m. June 24 that someone forced open the back door to a vacant home.

Friday afternoon at 3:33, two females were observed stealing aluminum cans from the recycling bins located on the Thompson Hills Shopping Center.

Family Dollar at 612 South Hancock reported to Sedalia Police that a man and a woman had taken an unknown amount of merchandise from the business without paying on Saturday afternoon.

Friday afternoon at 5:07, Sedalia Police went to the 3200 Block of West Broadway for a two car accident. A man said that he was backing out of a parking spot and struck another car. The second car left the scene of the accident before Sedalia Police arrived.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone had backed into her vehicle and then drove off in the 700 Block of East Broadway between 11:25 a.m. On June 22 and 11:30 a.m. On June 23.

Sedalia Police arrested Lesley Venable for driving while revoked and resisting arrest.
