Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Report: Morning of October 10, 2012

Sedalia Police were asked to accompany a Children's Division Worker to the 400 Block of East Tower.  The Children's Division asked Sedalia Police for a report to be started on charges of sexual abuse in the 2^nd, enticement of a child and child molestation in the 1^st.

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office has opened an investigation into a report that a 13-year-old girl had been molested by an adult male family friend.

An adult female may have endangered two children by stopping the vehicle they were occupying on a railroad crossing. The case is being investigated by Sedalia Police.

Yesterday afternoon, Sedalia police went to the 100 Block of Hogan Street regarding a possible dead body. The Sedalia Fire Department and ambulance personnel then arrived and pronounced 52-year-old Roy Reeves dead. The coroner was contacted and he responded to the scene.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that a man from St. Louis had three deer stands from the 31000 Block of Steele Drive sometime since May 31.

An electric meter was stolen from a rental home in the 400 Block of East 6^th between October 3 and 8.
