Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: July 30, 2012

A man in the 500 Block of West 18^th, reported to Sedalia Police that a man had threatened him with a handgun. The suspect in the 1700 Block of South Vermont denied the allegations. The Sedalia Police Department investigated the case further and made no arrests.

Yesterday, Sedalia Police responded to the 1600 Block of West 3^rd for a possible child abuse case. Sedalia Police determined that the incident occurred in Columbia.

A man in the 1700 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that a swimming pool pump, valued at $200, was stolen on the morning of July 27.

A woman in the 1200 Block of South Ohio reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole items from her vehicle between 10 p.m. July 28 and 6 a.m. on July 29.

A man in the 1200 Block of South Kentucky reported to Sedalia Police that some items were stolen from his vehicle between 7 p.m. July 28 and 10 a.m. on July 29.

The Cork and Bottle at 3806 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that a bottle of Jim Beam Whiskey was stolen on Saturday.

A man in the 900 Block of South Sneed reported to Sedalia Police that someone may have thrown a soft drink on his car. The car may have been damaged, however, Sedalia Police advised the victim to wash his car and check if it was damaged or not.

A man in the 300 Block of Buckner Court and a man in the 1400 Block of East 7^th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a license plate between July 28 and July 30.

Sedalia Police arrested Matthew West for having a warrant for fraudulent use of a credit device, bond was set at $3,500.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Clarissa Landon for an active warrant for her arrest, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
