The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Friday, April 12, 2013.
The Sedalia Police STING unit made a traffic stop at 3rd and Summit. The vehicle pulled into oncoming traffic and almost struck another vehicle. The driver appeared nervous and his vehicle was searched. Sedalia Police found 20-year-old Joshua Shull in possession of several individually packaged baggies of marijuana. Shull admitted that he was going deliver the marijuana to another subject and had packaged the marijuana. Shull was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported case of statutory rape which occurred sometime in January.
A woman in the 1300 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone used a credit card of hers and used it multiple times in Sedalia between April 4 and 7.
Murphy USA reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $5 gas drive off.
Sedalia Police arrested Rebecca Bell for a failure to appear for a city of Sedalia violation, bond set at $88.50 cash and a Pettis County warrant for failure to appear, bond set at $10,000 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Kristopher Harvey for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sedalia Police arrested Daniel Suarez-Avila and Jeffery Buchanan for driving while revoked.
