Sedalia Police Find Drugs During a Routine Traffic Stop

Sedalia Police saw a car committing numerous moving violations at 3rd and South Summit on Thursday evening (April 11). Sedalia Police stopped the vehicle and found the driver to be in possession of marijuana. Joshua Shull was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, delivery of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Several Thefts And Property Damage Reported in Area

A woman in the 900 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that a black leather jacket and $600 in items were taken from a storage unit in the last year.

Pettis County Deputies took burglary report from a man on Gilead Road in Hughesville. The man reported that several items were taken and several items were damaged between 7 p.m. on April 8 and 8 a.m. on April 9.

Pettis County Deputies took a burglary report in the 26000 Block of Deer Park Road in Hughesville that happened between 7 p.m. on April 12 and 8:22 p.m. on April 13.

Pettis County Deputies took a burglary report from a man in the 30000 Block of Randy Drive that happened sometime since October 29, 2012.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of a possible case of trespassing that happened in the 33000 Block of Lutman Road on April 13.

Casey's at 1909 West Main reported to Sedalia Police there was a $10.01 gas drive off on Friday, April 12.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that on Friday (April 12), a rock was thrown at her vehicle and cracked the windshield.

Pettis County Deputies recovered a stolen vehicle on Saturday (April 13) from Warsaw in the 30000 Block of Highway W in Smithton.

Friday afternoon (April 11), a woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was driving in the area of West 24th and South Quincy and was struck from behind by another vehicle. The other vehicle drove off without providing any information. The victim was complaining of pain in her back due to the accident.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Gary Horn for failure to appear out of Pettis County for marijuana possession, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Victor Gonzales-Castros for stealing from Kmart, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Nichole Pummill for driving while suspended, bond set at $532.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Christina Carlock for failure to appear out of Morgan County for littering, bond set at $500.

Sedalia Police arrested Douglas Redinger for having a Cooper County warrant, bond set at $235 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Richard Batzel for failure to appear out of Pettis County for larceny, bond set at $141.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Kaleb Krumroy for failure to appear for a traffic offense, bond set at $88.50.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Charles Monteer for active Pettis County warrants and driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Ray for failure to appear out of Morgan County.
