Gun Found in Sedalia Business

Yesterday afternoon (April 28), Sedalia Police went to Woods Supermarket at 701 East Broadway as a manager said a customer found a 9mm handgun in the mens' bathroom. Sedalia Police took control of the 9mm handgun with full magazine and brought it back to the Sedalia Police Station.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 600 Block of South Lafayette reported to Sedalia Police that between 8 p.m. on April 27 and 6 a.m. on April 28, someone broke into his outdoor shed and stole fishing rods, along with a bag that contained fishing tackle, pocket knives and a fillet knife.

A woman in the 1600 Block of South Stewart reported to Sedalia Police that someone forced entry into her home and stole several items between 1 and 2:50 p.m. on April 26.

Scoops Ice Cream reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone drove a vehicle over their deck and damaged it sometime yesterday (April 28).

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Dog Bite & Assault

The Pettis County Sheriff's Office received a report that a woman was bit by a dog in the 2900 Block of Maplewood Road last night (April 28).

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported assault that occurred on April 23.

Several Arrests Made Over Weekend

Sedalia Police arrested Kasandra Euqua for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $5,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Amanda Lara for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Terri Williams for domestic assault in the 2nd, careless and imprudent driving, property damage and no operator's license.

Sedalia Police arrested Paul Bogle for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Andrews for driving while suspended and having no front license plate.

Sedalia Police arrested David Williams for driving while revoked.
