Sedalia Fire Department Responds to House Fire

Early this morning (April 19), the Sedalia Police Department received a 911 call that there was a house fire on East 15th. The Sedalia Fire Department and Police Department responded to the fire and more information will be forthcoming through the day.

Sedalia Police Investigate Property Damage

The Sedalia Police went to the Whittier High School at 907 East 16th after someone broke the glass in one of the doors. An unnamed suspect admitted to breaking the window on accident and no charges have been filed.

A man in the 1400 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that someone took the radiator out of his truck. The radiator would cost $500 to repair.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Luis Landers for driving while suspended, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Shawn Mantonya for failure to appear for driving while suspended and disobeying signal lights, bond set at $88.50 cash.

Pettis County Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in the 28000 Block of Hopewell Road. Pettis County Deputies later arrested 25-year old Michael Iman and 23-year old Marcus Iman for burglary and stealing from a motor vehicle. Both subjects are on a 24-hour investigative hold.
