Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of April 24, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

Sedalia Police Assist the Children's Division

Last night (April 23), Sedalia Police assisted the Children's Division with an investigation to check the well-being of a child at the home. After the investigation, the child was removed from the home by a representative of the Pettis County Juvenile Office. The child was in no need of medical treatment.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate Harassment Case

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a reported case of harassment that occurred in the 1300 Block of East Boonville Road on April 23.

Several Thefts Reported

Krupp Construction reported to Sedalia Police that 32 2' spacers valued between $1,500 and $2,000, and eight 15" spacers valued at $500, were stolen between April 18 and 22 from the Washington Street Bridge project at South Washington and West Main.

Wisch Vaughan Construction reported to Sedalia Police that between 5 p.m. on April 19 and 1:24 p.m. on April 22, that one of their construction trailers was broken into. A concrete saw valued at $965 and Rolor air compressor valued at $250 were stolen in the area of Harding and East Harvey.

A man reported to Pettis County Deputies that sometime since April 11, a family member had stolen some property in the 30000 Block of Summers Drive and pawned $4900 in property for money.

A man in the 6600 Block of Highway 50 reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole items from his property sometime since February 10.

A man in the 19000 Block of Butterbaugh Ford Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that his television was stolen on the night of April 22.

A woman in the 3700 Block of West 10^th reported to Sedalia Police that money was stolen from her home between 2:45 p.m. on April 20 and 8 a.m. on April 21.

Breaktime at 2801 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police there was a $34.43 gas drive off.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Timothy Busker for a Pettis County failure to appear charge, bond set at $2,500 surety or 10% cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Dallas Carlock for failure to signal and driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Margaret Keele for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Albert Willis on an active warrant for probation violation.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Chris Walker of Excelsior Springs.
