The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Tuesday, April 30.

Sedalia Police Respond to Uptown Theater Break In

Very early this morning (April 30), three subjects had broken the front doors of the abandoned Uptown Theater building. Sedalia Police found that the glass in the front door had been broken. Sedalia Police saw three subjects run from the rear of the building and were pursued and caught within a block and a half of the building. Sedalia Police arrested Charles Cypert, Jonathan Cornell and Alonzo Casler for burglary in the 2nd and property damage in the 2nd. Casler was also found to have a failure to appear charge.

Several Arrests Made

A woman in the 700 Block of Wilkerson reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her home, but it is not known if anything was stolen.

A man came to Sedalia Police and turned in a small case with identity cards and various credit cards in it.

Sedalia Police arrested William Craig for having a Benton County failure to appear for passing bad checks, bond set at $5,000 surety or $500 cash.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Clarissa Holman for having two active warrants for failure to appear.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Bemiss for driving while suspended.
