Sedalia Police Respond To An Unlawful Use of a Weapon Report

Yesterday morning (Feb. 11), Sedalia Police went to the 200 Block of South Grand for a reported disturbance. A victim reported that a subject who lives in Springfield agreed to give her dad a ride for $40. When the dad arrived, the subject asked for $125. The victim said $40 was the price and the subject reached down near the center console of his truck and pulled out a weapon from his holster. The victim said the weapon was pointed at her face and the subject wanted the rest of the money. The suspect was located near West Broadway and South State Fair. Sedalia Police arrested David Baldwin for assault in the 2nd and unlawful use of a weapon.

Copper and Fuel Stolen in Pettis County

Yesterday (Feb. 11), Pettis County Deputies received a report that some fuel and copper were stolen from a building in the 14000 Block of Route J on Sunday (Feb. 10).

Sedalia Police Make Numerous Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Patricia Ragsdale for a probation violation out of Saline County, bond set at $2,500 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Rachel Wirtz for driving while suspended, bond set at $531.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Sarah Altis for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Jesse Roberts for failure to appear on backfines for marijuana possession, possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Mrazek for receiving stolen property.

Sedalia Police arrested John Threlkeld for driving while suspended and defective tail lights.

Sedalia Police arrested Sherwin Marshall for driving while suspended.
