Sedalia Police and Pettis County Deputies Investigate Several Thefts

Katy Motors at 4211 South Limit reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into a vehicle and attempted to steal it between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3.

A man in the 16000 Block of Highway B in Green Ridge reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a theft from his vehicle between Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

A woman from Columbia reported to Sedalia Police that she was the victim of identity theft between Dec. 1 and Jan. 3.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that mail was stolen in the 3000 Block of Suburban Lane sometime since Dec. 21.

A man in the 600 Block of East 17th reported to Sedalia Police that he lost his wallet between Dec. 15 and Dec. 22. The wallet contained his Mexican ID card.

Woods Express at 703 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $35 gas drive off yesterday afternoon (Jan. 3).

Yesterday (Jan. 3) Pettis County Deputies towed a vehicle abandoned in the roadway from Rissler Road.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Jade Buckner for a failure to appear charge, bond set at $350 cash only.

Pettis County Deputies arrested 18-year-old Daniel Morgunenko for possession of marijuana.

Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Bushnell for driving while revoked.
