The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Friday, Mar. 29, 2013.

Two Disturbances Reported in Sedalia

Last night (Mar. 28), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 500 Block of West 7th on a call of an intoxicated man threatening children with a knife. Sedalia Police located the man in question near the intersection of 6th and Harrison. Sedalia Police arrested Donald Brown for resisting arrest and are seeking charges of unlawful use of a weapon.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that there was a disturbance at the Whittier High School on Mar. 26. There were no further details as to the nature of the disturbance.

Several Thefts and Property Damage Reported

A man in the 1200 Block of West 11th reported to Sedalia Police that someone caused $500 in damages to three of his vehicles and a house window between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mar. 28.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that sometime since Mar. 26 somebody stole her 1999 Mercury Sable from the 4200 Block of South Kentucky.

A woman in the 600 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke in and stole a 32-inch RCA television between 11:20 a.m. And 1:30 p.m. on Mar. 28.

Wood's Express reported a $15 gas drive off.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Beverly McCall for a probation violation out of Pettis County, bond set at $2,500 surety and $2,000 cash only. Mccall was also found to have a probation and parole warrant out of Jefferson City.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Simmons for having a Henry County warrant for failure to appear, bond set at $150 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Terri Sue Williams for having an active Pettis County warrant.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Claudine Cozine for having an outstanding warrant from the Sedalia Police Department.
