Pettis County Deputies Investigate a Case of Shots Fired

Pettis County Deputies investigated a case of shots fired in the area of McVey and Rissler Road. The incident happened last night (May 16) and is still under investigation.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 2400 Block of West Main reported to Sedalia Police that a Galaxy S3 cell phone valued at $550 was stolen yesterday afternoon (May 16).

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her Nextbook Premium Tablet valued at $300 was stolen at the Smith-Cotton Jr. High.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her iPhone 4S valued at $200 was stolen from a locker room at 2205 S. Ingram last night (May 16).

Temp Stop at 1515 Thompson Boulevard reported to Sedalia Police there was a $25.02 gas drive off.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Jateshkumer Patel for having a Pettis County warrant for five counts of distribution of a controlled substance and one count of possession with the intent to deliver, bond set at $250,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Smither for being a parole obsconder.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Alyssa Rhodes for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.

Sedalia Police arrested William Barefield for driving while revoked.

Sedalia Police arrested Randall Meredith II for driving while suspended.
