Sedalia Police Assist the Sedalia Fire Department

Sedalia Police went to a fire at 309 North Heard. An unnamed object was said to be on fire yesterday morning (Jan. 24) at the residence and Sedalia Fire Department put the fire out.

Several Thefts Reported in Pettis County

Pettis County Deputies received a report of several items stolen from a job site located on Highway F.

A man in the 1800 Block of South Barrett reported to Sedalia Police that yesterday (Jan. 24) someone had come into a vacant home and stole nine metal floor gates and the burners from the stove.

Two victims in the 300 Block of Buckner Court reported to Sedalia Police that a Wii gaming system and two controllers valued at $200 was stolen from their apartment on Jan. 24 between 4 and 8 p.m.

Pettis County Deputies are investigating a case of harassment reported in the 23000 Block of Rothrock Road.

Walmart Asset Protection reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect tore security tags from multiple items and attempted to leave the store without paying. The suspect also assaulted a member of Walmart's Asset Protection Team. There were no injuries and $139.96 in items were stolen.

A man in the 1400 Block of South Moniteau reported to Sedalia Police that his truck's four tires had been cut between Jan. 23 at 9:30 p.m. and Jan. 24 at 3:30 p.m. The tires were valued at $300.

Sedalia Police arrested Falon Hoffman for stealing $30.52 in items from Walmart.

Sedalia Police arrested David Graves for stealing a can of beer, valued at $1.79, from Breaktime at 808 East Broadway.

Sedalia Police arrested Nastacia Poindexter for a failure to appear, bond set at $115.90.

Sedalia Police arrested Ronald Callahan for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Caleb Perry for driving while suspended.
