Sedalia Police Assist Division of Family Services

Last night (Mar. 4), Sedalia Police went to the Anthony Buckner Housing Complex to assist the Missouri Division of Family Services Children's Division on an investigation.

Sedalia Police Investigate One Theft

A woman in the 600 Block of East 11th reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered her unlocked car yesterday morning and stole ten CDs, three cell phone chargers and a flashlight, all together valued at $104.

Two Hit-And-Run Accidents Reported to Sedalia Police

A woman in the 1500 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that her car was hit in front of her house between 8:30 p.m. on March 2 and 1:30 p.m. on March 3. A door handle was missing and a rear taillight was broken. The woman estimated the damages to be $130.

A woman in the 400 Block of West Morgan reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged her car while it was parked in her driveway between March 1 and 3.

Several Arrests Occur In Area

Sedalia Police went to a home in the 1900 Block of South Lamine looking for a subject with a warrant for arrest. The person that answered the door advised Sedalia Police that the subject in question was not there. Sedalia Police advised the person that if a search was done and the suspect was found, he would be arrested for interfering with police work. A search was done and the original subject was found inside. Sedalia Police arrested Joseph Sistanich with resisting arrest and interfering with Sedalia Police. Total bond was set at $1,067.

Sedalia Police arrested Gonzalo Esqueda for trespassing, bond set at $88.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Thomas Pitts for driving while revoked.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Danny McKernon for having a warrant out of Morgan County.
