Sedalia Police Respond to Suicide Attempt

Last night, Sedalia Police went to the 2000 Block of East 6th for a report of a suicide attempt. Sedalia Police made contact with the subject wishing to harm herself and transported her to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 800 Block of Ruth Ann Drive reported to Sedalia Police that sometime between 9:30 p.m.on May 27 and 6:45 yesterday morning, someone broke into his vehicle through the passenger's side window and took a Kenwood brand CD player valued at $75, a half-inch Milwaukee brand impacted drill valued at $500, a Craftsman brand three-ton floor jack valued at $75 and a Hummingbird brand fish finder with 5" screen valued at $300.

Sedalia Police went to the 3100 Block of Brianna Boulevard after someone took $400 from a man's dresser while he was out between 7:30 and 9 a.m. yesterday (May 28).

Washington School reported to Sedalia Police that someone damaged the front glass door with a rock, causing $800 in damages.

A woman in the 900 Block of Gregory Lane reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole two softball bats, a softball glove and a softball bag from her car between midnight on May 26 and 6 p.m. on May 27.

Pettis County Deputies took a report of a stolen toolbox from a home in the 3500 Block of South Grand.

Pettis County Deputies received a report of identity theft that occurred sometime since May 21 in the 3000 Block of Meadow Wood Drive.

Two Cases of Shoplifting Reported

Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that two suspects removed an item from a shelf, took it to the service counter and returned it for a refund. Both subjects fled to a vehicle in the parking lot and left.

Dollar General at 713 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that a white male shoplifted $35 in items.

Pettis County Deputies responded yesterday (May 28) to the Elm Hills Trailer Park on a report of harassment.

Two Arrests Made

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kenneth Dean Fisher for having three active failure to appear charges. The charges that Fisher had were for child molestation in the 2nd degree, supplying alcohol to a minor and two charges of no license and speeding with total bond set at $140,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Andreya Dedman for assault, bond set at $533.50.
