The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 1400 Block of East 3rd reported to Sedalia Police that on Monday morning at 8:00 (May 6), a suspect knocked on the front door and she answered it. The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded her cell phone. The woman gave the suspect the phone. There is a suspect in the case.

A woman in 400 Block of West Cooper reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole an Xbox, Xbox Kinect and controller, all valued at $325.

A woman in the 2500 Block of East 12th reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered the home and took items from the home between 1:00 and 5:00 yesterday afternoon (May 7).

A man in the 2400 Block of West Main reported to Sedalia Police that yesterday (May 7), someone stole an Emerson 32" flat screen television, a Playstation 3 and $350 in cash.

A man in the 1100 Block of McVey Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that a box of brass fittings were stolen from his property yesterday (May 7).

A man in the 700 Block of West Cooper reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole two deer antler horns on the front of his truck between 9:30 p.m on May 6 and 12:30 yesterday afternoon (May 7).

A man in the 400 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that he gave his debit card and pin number to a suspect in order to purchase cigarettes and beer. The suspect emptied the victim's bank account.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone used her identity to establish phone service since April 30.

A woman in the 22000 Block of Hitaffer Road in Lamonte reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office someone had attempted to break into her garage between April 30 and May 7.

Pettis County Deputies received a report that someone broke into a home in the 29000 Block of Pony Path Road and several items had been taken yesterday (May 7).

Meyer Plumbing at 1611 South Harrison reported to Sedalia Police that two garage windows were broke out of an unattached garage next to the business between 6 p.m on May 6 and 2 p.m. on May 7.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Bobby Johnson for two Pettis County failure to appears, receiving stolen property and burglary, total bond set at $50,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Caitlyn Woolford for stealing $127.78 in items from Walmart, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Brad Vansteenburgh for an outstanding Probation and Parole warrant.
