Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports: Morning of September 24, 2012

Sedalia Police responded to the area of 13^th and Harrison on Saturday morning (September 22) in regards to reports of shots fired. Sedalia Police responded and did not find any injuries or damage in the area, but did find some empty shells left from the shots.

Pettis County Deputies were called to the area of State Highway U and McVey Road for a brush fire that was reported at 1:30 Sunday (September 23) morning.

Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center on a report of an assault in the area of West 2^nd and South Missouri as two female suspects got out of a Blue Ford Focus and punched and kicked the victim between Noon and 1 p.m. Sunday (September 23).

A man in the 500 Block of South Lafayette reported to Sedalia Police that somebody came into his house and assaulted him on Sunday (September 23) around midnight.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 26000 Block of Prarie Road in reference to a disturbance at 5:16 A.M. Friday (September 21).

Pettis County Deputies received a report that between May 15 and May 28 there was a large amount of cash and jewelry taken from a home on Cherry Tree Lane.

A woman in the 300 Block of Tonya Drive in Smithton reported to Pettis County Deputies that a theft occurred between September 20 and 22.

A woman in the 21000 Block of Highway MM reported a burglary to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that occurred sometime on Friday, September 21.

Pettis County Deputies received a report from the 24000 Block of Hogan Boulevard that a mailbox was damaged on September 23.

Woods Express reported to Sedalia Police a gas drive off of $30.25 worth of gas on Sunday evening.

The Muddy Creek Store on Highway MM reported to Pettis County Deputies that a bottle of alcohol was stolen on September 21.

Pettis County Deputies responded to the 1500 Block of Crestview for a juvenile complaint. The report was forwarded to the Juvenile Office for follow-up.

Sedalia Police arrested Keli Reno for failure to appear on two cases of fraudulent use of credit device charge, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jessie Cornwell for failure to obey and placed into 12-hour protective custody, bond set at $531.50.

Sedalia Police arrested Cory Draper for careless and inprudent driving (alcohol related), bond set at $531.50 cash/surety

Sedalia Police arrested Tony Renfro for a Pettis County failure to appear charge, bond set at $500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested David Batzel for stealing $229.27 in items from Walmart and unlawful use of a weapon.

Sedalia Police arrested Kenneth McGee for driving while suspended.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Carl Ray Driskill Jr on an outstanding Sedalia Police Department warrant.
