Sedalia Police Investigate Several Thefts:
A man in the 900 Block of West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone had wheels and tires valued at $545 taken from his property.
A man in the 200 Block of Scott Joplin Court reported to Sedalia Police that someone took his car dolly, valued between $200 and $300, between 9:30 and 10 p.m. Nov. 7.
A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her purse was stolen from her vehicle in either the 2300 Block of West 1st or the 1400 Block of South Limit between 9:30 a.m. and noon on Nov. 7.
A woman on Randall Road reported a theft to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Nov. 7.
Clark Tool at 2907 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone cut the AT&T phone lines on the east side of the building between 6:45 p.m. November 6 and 7:15 p.m. Nov. 7.
Sedalia Police Make Two Arrests
Federal Agents from the United States Department of Labor contacted Sedalia Police requesting assistance locating a suspect with an oustanding warrant. Sedalia Police Department arrested David Pummill Jr. and turned him over to federal agents.
Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Bittner for having a Henry County warrant, bond set at $116 cash only.
