The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's reports are from the morning of Friday, Nov. 9, 2012.

 Several Thefts Occur in the Area

A man at Medallion Electric at 216 South Missouri reported to Sedalia Police that on Nov. 8 someone broke into a utility truck sometime between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Nov. 7 and stole several tools, including a powerdrill. The tools altogether were valued between $1,000 and $1,200.

A woman reported to Pettis County Deputies that there was a theft of scrap metal sometime on Nov. 8.

A man in the 300 Block of West 4th reported to Sedalia Police that he had ordered $40 in vitamin supplements and a neighbor saw UPS delivered it at 12:25 p.m. November 2. The man returned home about ten minutes later and the package was no longer on the front porch.

A woman reported to the Sedalia School Resource Officer that her wallet had been stolen from her office at the Smith Cotton High School. A suspect was identified in the case, and charges of stealing have been sought from the Prosecutor's Office.

Road Safe Traffic Systems at 319 South Lamine reported to Pettis County Deputies that some road signs were stolen.

Several Arrests Made in Pettis County

Pettis County Deputies arrested Kevin Scott Morrison for having an active probation violation warrant out of Henry County. Morrison is currently being held in the Pettis County Jail pending the posting of $1,500 bond.

Pettis County Deputies arrested Tina Klos of Lamonte on an active warrant for her arrest while in the 300 Block of South Lamine.
