Sedalia Police is investigating a report of statutory sodomy in the 2nd that occurred in the 400 Block of Welch Court.

A woman on Mather Road reported to Pettis County Deputies that one of her juvenile children ran away. The juvenile was located and then returned home. The matter has been referred to the Pettis County Juvenile Center.

Friday evening (October 12), Sedalia Police went to the 200 Block of West 6th as a man reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted on his front porch.

A woman in the 200 Block of West 6th reported to Sedalia Police that somebody stole 50-75 CDs containing personal videos and photos valued at $250 and a laptop computer valued at $50 between 6 p.m. October 12 and 8:30 p.m. October 14.

Saturday evening (October 13), Sedalia Police went to the Pettis County Sheriff's Department in reference to a subject that wanted to speak with an officer. The subject requested assistance with obtaining shelter for the night. The subject was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. The pills were placed in Sedalia Police property until the subject produces a prescription.

Sedalia Police received reports of four separate gas drive offs that varied from $23.51 to $53.77 over the weekend.

Jiffy Stop reported to Sedalia Police there was a $48 gas drive off.

Sedalia Police arrested Westley Kabler for a Pettis County warrant for failing to appear, bond set at $15,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Raul Martinez for having no operator's license, bond set at $107 cash/surety and improper vehicle registration, bond set at $107 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Ashley Ransdell for failing to appear on a shoplifting charge, bond set at $150 cash.
