Sedalia Police received a report from a woman in the 500 Block of East 24th that she was a victim of sexual misconduct and her $1,600 Samsung LG-3 phone was set on fire and damaged.

Three administrators at Smith-Cotton High School reported to the School Resource Officer that their photos and identities were stolen and used by unknown parties to open three fraudulent Twitter accounts in their names. The suspect or suspects posted several lewd “Tweets” using the victims' names and photos between September 19 and 21. The fraudulent accounts were closed at the request of the victims. There is a criminal inquiry into this case and the investigation continues.

Monday morning (September 24), Sedalia Police received a report that a woman was assaulted in the 600 Block of West 7th.

A juvenile victim reported to the School Resource Officer that he was assaulted at the Smith Cotton High School on Monday afternoon. A suspect was taken into custody after a joint investigation between the school administration and the School Resource Officer. Charges of assault while on school property are being south from the prosecutor's office.

A man in the 200 Block of West 10th reported to Sedalia Police that a suspect punched his front door and caused $150 in damages.

Marks Mobile Glass reported to Sedalia Police that three Dewalt 18-volt drill and impact combos were stolen between 4 p.m. September 24 and 9 a.m. September 25.

Twice in one week Timothy Davis was arrested. The first one happened on September 23 when Sedalia Police saw him riding a bicycle at night with no front illumination, traveling against traffic and riding on a sidewalk in the downtown district. Davis was arrested for bicycle violations and transported to the Pettis County Jail, with bond set at $82. The second arrest occurred yesterday morning (September 25), when Pettis County Deputies assisted Sedalia Police in taking Davis into custody on various charges, including resisting detention.

Sedalia Police arrested Bobby Johnson for a probation and parole warrant, bond set at $25,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Yeimi Medina-Leon for having a Pettis County failure to appear charge for a traffic violation, bond set at $1,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Kyla Potter for having a Benton County failure to appear charge, bond set at $500 cash/surety.
