The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Knife Incident

Sedalia Police received a report from the End Zone on Saturday evening (Jan. 26), that someone had just severely cut his arm and then left the bar with a friend intoxicated. Sedalia Police found the car that the End Zone staff thought the man left in, in front of J.C. Penney. Sedalia Police found the passenger had a severe laceration to his right forearm and APSI was called. Sedalia Police found that the man was doing a bar trick with a knife and cut his arm. APSI transported the man to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Several Cases of Identity Theft Investigated

KCP&L reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone in the 4000 Block of Main Street stole utilities from their company.

Sedalia Police received a report from a man in the 700 Block of North Prospect that someone used his debit card without permission to make purchases between Jan. 26 and 30.

A woman in the 4000 Block of West Main Street reported to Pettis County Deputies that she was a victim of identity theft sometime since Nov. 1, 2012.

Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center Emergency Room parking lot to investigate a hit-and-run vehicle collision. The victim found damage was done to his vehicle's front bumper between 11 p.m. on Jan. 29 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 30.

Sedalia Police Make Two Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Shawn Hughes for having a Johnson County warrant, bond set at $25,000 cash/surety. Hughes also had a parole violation warrant and no bond was set for that charge.

Sedalia Police arrested Andra Pardoe for driving while suspended.
