The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's Reports are from the morning of Thursday, May 9, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

A woman in the 1300 Block of South Brown reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into her storage unit and stole a Hitachi 18-volt drill, concrete drill and flashlight combo between 10 a.m on May 7 and noon on May 8.

A woman in the 100 Block of West 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone entered her unlocked car yesterday (May 9) and removed a cell phone, debit card and cash.

A man in the 2700 Block of Southgate Loop reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone did property damage to his home between 8 p.m.on May 6 and 6:23 p.m on May 8.

Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that there was a $16 gas drive off yesterday morning (May 8).

Breaktime at 318 West Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole $10.46 in items from the store on the night of May 7.

Three Dogs Involved in a Fight

Yesterday morning (May 8), a woman in the area of 19th and Grand reported to Sedalia Police that she was walking her dog when two "pit bull type dogs" ran towards her and her dog. She tried to protect the dog, when one started to attack the dog and the other dog got involved in the fight. The owner of the dogs were contacted and were made aware of the situation.

One Arrest Made

Sedalia Police arrested Dallas Carlock for domestic assault in the 3rd, a Sedalia and Pettis County warrant. The Pettis County warrant bond was set at $3,500 and the Sedalia bond was set at $167.70.
