Pettis County Emergency Services Responds to Fire

Pettis County Deputies and the Pettis County Fire Department responded to a structural fire in the 4000 Block of Par 5 Drive in the Country Club Estates that occurred yesterday (Dec. 10) at 3:05 p.m.

Several Thefts Reported in Area

A man reported to Sedalia Police that his 1993 Ford Mustang with a black racing stripe and black spray paint on the lower part of the car was stolen from the 1800 Block of South Beacon between Nov. 1 and Nov. 18.

A man in the 3000 Block of Brooking Park Avenue reported to Pettis County Deputies that his parked vehicle was damaged yesterday (Dec. 10) between 11:15 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Sedalia Police went to the 1400 Block of East Broadway after dogs that were chained up in the front of a home bit a man that was passing by. The owner of the dogs proved that the dogs were up to date on their rabies vaccinations. The owner of the dogs promised to chain the dogs up differently in future.

A man in the 1400 Block of South Limit reported the theft of his wallet on Dec. 10 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.

Yesterday afternoon, Sedalia Police went to the area of East Broadway and South New York to assist the Pettis County Sheriff's Office with an out of control female. Deputies had the woman out on the ground and she was kicking the door of the patrol car. The unnamed woman was placed in a WRAP and placed into the Pettis County jail pending a 96-hour hold for mental evaluation.
