Sedalia Police Arrest Independence, MO Man for Weapons Offences

Just before 12:00 noon Tuesday (Mar 28), Sedalia Police were on routine patrol in the 1000 block of West 3rd Street, when officers noticed a disturbance between two men.

The victim stated that the other man pulled out 2 guns and pointed them at the victim’s chest. Prior to officers arrival, the suspect allegedly threatened to kill the victim. According to the report, the suspect’s van was searched and 2 pistols were recovered.

The suspect, 22-year-old Brandon D. Hollis, of Independence, MO, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, for 2nd Degree Assault, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action.
