Homeless woman arrested for open container and drinking on a public sidewalk

At 10:38 Wednesday night Sedalia Police reportedly observed a female subject fall to the ground. The police report states the woman appeared to be intoxicated. An open bottle of vodka was found in the woman’s purse. 32-year-old Gwendollyn Freeman a homeless person was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a bond of $531.50 on charges of open container, and drinking on a public sidewalk.

Traffic stop results in arrest for a 20-year-old Sedalia man Wednesday afternoon

Around 3:35 Wednesday afternoon Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 16th and Ohio with a driver known to have a Sedalia Municipal warrant. 20-year-old Samuel Perez was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a bond of $88.50.

Henry County accident injures a 16-year-old Creighton girl

Just before noon Tuesday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Northwest 1501 at Northwest 900 Road in Henry County. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2010 Pontiac driven by 19-year-old Austin Atkins of Garden City Missouri, and the 1999 Oldsmobile driven by 18-year-old Carissa Vangilder also of Garden City, met at the uncontrolled intersection, which resulted in the crash. 16-year-old Christina Quick of Creighton Missouri received minor injuries, and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.
