Traffic stop results in arrest for a 29-year-old Sedalia woman

At 2:49 this morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 4th and Grand for no registration. A check on the occupants of the vehicle revealed that one of them, identified as 29-year-old Angela Hughes of Sedalia, had a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. At the time of the police report, Hughes was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $2500 bond.

Johnson County accident injures two Lincoln residents

At 7 a.m. Tuesday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Route “BB” a tenth of a mile north of County Road Southwest 301 in Johnson County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver of a 2001 Volkswagen, 17-year-old Linzie Green of Lincoln, lost control of her vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck a ditch. The vehicle then began overturning and struck a fence. Linzie Green suffered moderate injuries in the crash and was taken to Lee’s Summitt Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for treatment. A passenger, 15-year-old Hunter Green of Lincoln, received minor injuries but refused treatment at the scene.

88-year-old Warsaw man sustains minor injuries in a Benton County accident

Around 1:45 Tuesday afternoon, 88-year-old Ernest Fischer of Warsaw suffered minor injuries when his 2010 Lincoln MKA rear-ended a 1994 Ford Tempo driven by 57-year-old Pamela Ernsting of Lincoln on Highway “MM” just south of Missouri Highway 83 in Benton County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report states the accident happened as Ernsting slowed to turn into a driveway and was struck in the rear by the Fischer vehicle. Ernsting's vehicle then continued off the roadway and struck several mailboxes. Fischer suffered minor injuries and was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle for treatment.

Slater woman sustains minor injuries in a Saline County accident Tuesday evening

Troopers with the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported an accident on Route “O” a mile north of Lime Avenue in Saline County, at 5:16 Tuesday evening. According to the accident report, the accident occurred as the 1997 Ford driven by 75-year-old Wanita Blumhorst of Slater ran off the roadway and struck a ditch. Blumhorst received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
