The following Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports are from the afternoon of Oct. 15, 2013.

Traffic stop nets a Sedalia man driving with no operator’s license

At 8:15 Monday night, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Ohio with a defective headlight. Upon contact with the driver, 33-year-old Chad Bowker of Sedalia, he was found to be a revoked driver. At the time of the police report, Bowker was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $109 bond.

Accident reported in Pettis County early this morning

Around 2:50 this morning, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “V” four miles east of Route “U” in Pettis County. The accident occurred when the 2012 KIA driven by 29-year-old Daniel Delinger of Sunrise Beach ran off the roadway and struck a ditch and a tree. The vehicle then returned to the roadway, crossed the center line and came to rest in a ditch. A passenger, identified as 21-year-old Heather Diehl of Anaheim, Ca. was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and suffered moderate injuries. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Two St. Louis people injured in a Saline County accident Sunday

Just before 5:00 Sunday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident that occurred on westbound I-70 at mile marker 79 in Saline County. The accident happened as the 2013 Chrysler driven by 21-year-old Andreanna Kennedy of St. Louis lost control of her vehicle, traveled off the roadway and struck a road sign. The vehicle continued through the median and struck a 2007 Freightliner driven by 45-year-old Dennis Carey of Springfield, Ill., returned to the median and struck a median cable before coming to rest. The accident report states Kennedy and a passenger, 20-year-old Ayanna Kennedy of St. Louis, both received minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene.
