Here is your Sedalia Police Crime Report for June 27, 2012.

Liberty Park Pool Office reported burglarized Sunday night or Monday morning

At 11:18 Monday morning, Sedalia police responded to the Liberty Park Pool on a burglary complaint. Upon arrival, the complainant told officers someone had forced entry to the pool office and attempted unsuccessfully to break into or remove the safe. The thief or thieves stole an empty money bag and $5 according to the police report. The suspect or suspects had not been identified at news time.

 

Sedalia man arrested on a Pettis County warrant, and  a weapons charge

Just before 9 o'clock Tuesday night, Sedalia police made contact with a male suspect at 7th and Lafayette, known to have an active Pettis County warrant for 1st degree assault. A search of the suspect, 44-year-old Anthony Lowell Cason II of Sedalia, uncovered a loaded gun magazine. The police report also states a handgun was found in the suspect's vehicle, which he is prohibited from possessing due to his criminal history.  Cason was in the Pettis County jail pending $250,000 bond At the time of the police report.

 

Suspended driver arrested this morning for driving while suspended

Around 3 o'clock this morning Sedalia police observed a vehicle in the area of Quincy and Wilkerson driven by a suspended driver. Arrested at the scene was 28-year-old Robert Ballance of Sedalia. The police report states Balance was taken to the Pettis County jail pending formal charges.

 

Property damage complaint investigated in the 1600 block of East 4th

At 9:21 Monday morning, Sedalia police responded to the 1600 block of East 4th on a property damage report. Upon arrival, the victim reported someone had painted an inapropriate drawing on the window of his vehicle. There was no suspect information in the police report.
