The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the morning of Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
Sedalia Police responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center to investigate a report of a man that was struck intentionally by a vehicle at West Broadway and South Missouri, yesterday morning (March 31). The victim did not have serious injuries.
A man reported to Sedalia Police that someone tried to break into his garage on March 29. The man described the suspect as an 18-25 year-old black male, approximately 6 foot two inches and skinny, wearing low hanging shorts. On March 30, someone tried breaking into the garage again and the victim saw the suspect walk towards him, talking trash. The victim grabbed a baseball bat and hit the suspect four to five times. The suspect has not been identified.
Sedalia Police received a report yesterday (March 31), that someone stole an electronic tablet from their garage in the 900 Block of South Arlington.
A woman in the 900 Block of East 13th reported to Sedalia Police that someone shot out a window on the backside of their home with a bb gun on March 30.
A woman in the 2500 Block of Kay Avenue reported to Sedalia Police that someone fraudulently made two charges to her bank account, totaling $323.93.
A man in the 600 Block of West 5th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a wallet from his car, between 6 p.m. on March 30 and 4:30 a.m. on March 31.
An employee of Orscheln reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke into a cage in the store and stole $5893.75 worth of flea and tick medication.
Sedalia Police arrested Robert Brandkamp Jr. for a probation violation out of Jackson County, bond set at $4,900 cash/surety.
Sedalia Police arrested Dennis Rogers for driving while intoxicated persistant offender.
Sedalia Police arrested Melody Wood for driving while suspended.
Sedalia Police arrested Donald Waltmeyer for a violation of an order of protection.
