The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

Cole Camp woman arrested for trespassing and resisting arrest

Just before 3 a.m. Tuesday morning, Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1600 block of West 16th Street on a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, the male caller told the officers a female subject, identified as 41-year-old Lori Hadley of Cole Camp, was in his residence and refused to leave. The police report states after several attempts to get the woman to leave, she was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail on charges of trespassing, and resisting arrest. Bond on the charges was set at $816.50.

Sedalia Police investigate a missing person, and runaway juvenile Tuesday night

At 8:41 Tuesday night, Sedalia Police responded to the parking lot at 3201 West Broadway on a missing person and a reported runaway juvenile from Oklahoma. The two subjects were reportedly in a white Ford Focus. Upon arrival, officers located the subjects, and as requested, checked on the well-being of the male subject, who was reportedly okay. The female juvenile was reportedly a juvenile in Oklahoma, but was an adult Missouri. The police report states she was taken into custody at the request of the juvenile office and taken to the Pettis County Jail to await pickup.

Sedalia man in jail for domestic assault Tuesday evening

Around 6:20 Tuesday evening, Sedalia police arrested 20-year-old William Rodney Staten Jr., and transported him to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges of 3rd degree domestic assault.

Copper Downspouts stolen from a downtown building’s garage Tuesday night

Around 7:30 Tuesday night, Sedalia Police received a theft complaint from a complainant with the Helen G. Steele Music Club at 200 West Broadway. According to the complainant, someone stole 20 feet of copper downspouts from the garage on the property. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Identity of a thief may be connected to a burglary on Albright Court

At 6:20 Tuesday evening, Sedalia Police took a burglary complaint in the 400 block of Albright Court. The victim reported approximately $360 in items were stolen from the residence. There is information on a suspect in that case.
