The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of Dec. 17, 2013.

Sedalia man arrested early this morning during a traffic stop

Around 3:45 this morning, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 14th and Summit for expired and improper registration. According to the police report, the Chevrolet car was displaying GMC Truck plates. A check through dispatch also revealed the driver, 30-year-old Tristan Neth of Sedalia, had a failure to appear warrant out of Sedalia with a bond of $88.50. At the time of the police report, Neth was in the Pettis County Jail pending additional bonds of $642.50 on the new charges.

Sedalia man arrested at McDonalds on a failure to appear warrant

At 8:28 Monday night, Sedalia Police conducted a subject check on an individual at the McDonald's at 3101 West Broadway. According to the police report, 23-year-old Johnathon Cunningham of Sedalia was found to have a failure to appear warrant out of Pettis County. Cunningham was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $226 cash only bond.

Failure to obey a stop sign lands a man in jail

Just before 9:30 Monday night, Sedalia Police observed a vehicle fail to obey a stop sign at 6th and Summit and performed a traffic stop. A check through dispatch revealed the driver, 20-year-old Perez Castaneda of Sedalia, did not have an operator’s license. At the time of the police report, Castaneda was in the Pettis County Jail on 24-hour hold pending formal charges.
