Sedalia teen arrested on a Federal warrant Monday

Just before 4:00 on Monday afternoon, Sedalia Police Officers were dispatched to the Probation and Parole Office on a subject with an outstanding warrant. Upon arrival, officers arrested 19-year-old Sarandon Staten of Sedalia and transported him to the Pettis County jail. At the time of the police report Staten was being held without bond on a Federal warrant.

Traffic stop results in arrest for a 25-year-old Sedalia woman

Just after midnight on Monday morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Broadway and Massachusetts for failure to signal and improper lane usage.  Following an investigation, 25-year-old Jessica McReynolds of Sedalia was arrested, transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending the traffic related charges, plus charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated with drugs and abuse loss violation.

Two suspects arrested following a traffic stop Tuesday morning

Around 7:15 Tuesday morning Sedalia police stopped a vehicle with an expired temporary tag at 2nd Street Terrace and Rainbow Avenue. The driver, 25-year-old Alexander Knipp of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges. The police report also states a passenger in the vehicle, identified as 25-year-old Leon Hinckley a homeless person was found to be in possession of a firearm and drug related items. Hinckley was also arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on 24-hour hold pending charges.

Tuesday evening Sedalia police arrested 43-year-old Jason Cranmer of Sedalia for failure to appear on a Sedalia Municipal Warrant, with a bond of $200 cash.

Tuesday night 26-year-old Juan Emiliano of Sedalia was arrested during a traffic stop on charges of failure to appear on a Sedalia Municipal Warrant. Bond was set at $150 cash only on the warrant.
