Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports for the afternoon of Dec. 3, 2012.

Cole Camp man arrested for driving while suspended Saturday

At 5:50 Saturday afternoon, Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 32nd and Limit for expired plates. A check through dispatch revealed the driver, 33-year-old Andrew Johnson of Cole Camp, was a suspended driver. Johnson was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked and released with a court date.

Homeless man arrested for trespassing Friday night

At 10:12 Friday night, Sedalia police arrested 36-year-old Troy Hufford for trespassing at a residence in the 1000 block of West 3rd. He was arrested, taken to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a court date pending sobriety.

Local business reports property damage Saturday

Around noon on Saturday, a subject at The Mini Storage located at 922 West 3rd reported someone had cut off 15 locks on storage units there. The report states there was nothing missing.  There were no suspects at news time.

Motorcycle stolen from a local auto dealer

At 5:00 Saturday evening, Sedalia Police responded to Greg's Auto Sales at 632 East Broadway on a theft complaint. Upon arrival the complainant reported that someone stole a red Honda Racing Bike from a storage trailer on the lot sometime after Nov. 24. There were no suspects.

Vandals target a shed at Clover Dell Park

Just after 8:00 Saturday morning, Sedalia Police responded to Clover Dell Park at 4001 West 32nd in reference to a storage shed break-in. Upon arrival, the caller told police that someone broke into a storage shed belonging to the Paul Klover Soccer Association sometime after Nov. 20. The vandals scattered the contents of the shed over the area, and stole a box of flags valued at $225. There were no suspects.

Local electric company hit by burglars

Around 10:00 Sunday morning, Sedalia Police were dispatched to Independent Electric, located at 225 South Kentucky, on a burglary report. According to the police report, entry was made to the business by breaking a window. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the safe, and a radio and camera were taken. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Home in the 500 block of East 4th burglarized

At 3:42 Friday afternoon, a victim in the 500 block of East 4th reported a hot water heater and 15 boxes of floor tile were stolen from a residence they own. The value of the stolen items was not in the police report and there were no suspects.

Vehicle parked at the Best Western damaged by vandals

A victim at the Best Western on South Limit reported his vehicle was vandalized sometime overnight. According to the victim, a side window of his Ford F-150 was broken and several iPod charging cables were stolen. There was no information on possible suspects.

Thefts from a vehicle in the 1500 block of East 6th reported Saturday

Just before 9:00 Saturday morning, a victim in the 1500 block of East 6th reported several items were stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in her driveway overnight. There were no suspects.
