Texas man reports harassing calls from a phone in Sedalia

On Tuesday afternoon, a man in Coppeas Cove, Tx., called the Sedalia Police Department to report harassing calls from a phone in Sedalia. According to the victim, he thought the call was a financial scam at first, but the caller began using extremely bad language and making vulgar threats. The incident is currently under investigation.

Theft from a motor vehicle reported on East 5th street

Just after midnight this morning, Sedalia police took a report of thefts from a vehicle in the 1500 block of East 5th street. According to the victim, someone entered his vehicle and stole some electronic equipment, two iPhones, some jewelry and sterling silver. The stolen items were valued at $1200 and there were no suspects at the time of the police report.

Laptop computer stolen from a vehicle at Casey’s Monday afternoon

At 2:10 Monday afternoon, Sedalia police took a theft from a vehicle complaint from a victim at the police station. The female victim told officers that someone stole her laptop computer valued at $1000 while she was inside the Casey’s Store at 16th and Grand. The victim said she was only inside for five

minutes. There is no information on a possible suspect at news time.

Thief cuts man’s boat cover to steal a boat fuel tank

Around 8:00 Monday morning, a male victim in the 1100 block of West 16th filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia police. According to the victim, someone cut the cover on his boat sometime between 9:00 Saturday night and 8:00 Monday morning and stole a six gallon fuel tank containing four gallons of gasoline. The fuel tank and gasoline was valued at $100.

License plates stolen from a vehicle parked at El Espolon Restaurant

At 8:30 Tuesday morning, a male victim reported that both license plates were stolen from his vehicle while the car was parked at El Espolon at 2400 South Limit. The license number on the Missouri plates is WH4-B7X. There were no suspects at news time.

Motorcycle license plate stolen in the 1200 block of West 5th

Tuesday afternoon, a victim in the 1200 block of West 5th reported the Missouri license plate number CK3-NR was stolen from his motorcycle while it was parked in front of his house. There were no suspects at news time.
