The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the afternoon of June 28, 2013.

Man arrested at Housel Park on drug related charges

Just before 3:00 this (Friday) morning, Sedalia police made contact with a subject on a park bench in Housel Park at 201 East Howard after the park was closed. A search of the subject, identified as 28-year-old Brandon Brown revealed he was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Brown attempted to run from the officer and was hit with a Taser during the foot chase. At the time of the police report, Brown was on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County jail pending formal charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.

54-year-old Sedalia man arrested on warrants this (Friday) morning

At 7:33 this morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at Booneville and Emmit Avenue with a driver known to be revoked. A subsequent check on the driver, 54-year-old Floyd Snow of Sedalia,  revealed he had municipal warrants out of Sedalia and Lexington. Snow was arrested, taken to the Pettis County jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges for driving while revoked and $1088.50 bonds on the two warrants.

Loud noise results in arrest for a 25-year-old Sedalia woman

Around 1:45 Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police were dispatched to the 400 block of Welch Court on a report of loud noise. Upon contact with the suspect, 25-year-old Conchetta Wolfe, she began to resist being arrested and had to be restrained. At the time of the police report, Wolfe was in the Pettis County Jail pending bonds totaling $1067 for loud noise and resisting arrest.

Rifle and Compound Bow stolen from a man’s truck on east 2nd

A victim in the 300 block of East 2nd reported property damage and thefts from his truck to the Sedalia police at 4:19 this Friday morning. According to the victim, someone broke a window of his truck sometime after 10:30 Thursday night and stole a rifle and a compound bow. Value of the window and stolen items was placed at $350. There were no suspects at news time.

Thieves steal woman’s appliances while she is moving

At 5:00 Thursday evening, a female victim in the 1600 block of East 7th filed a theft complaint with the Sedalia police. According to the victim, thieves stole a window air-conditioned, a refrigerator, a stove and various other items while she was in the process of moving. There was no information on suspects in the police report.

Vandals shatter rear window of a vehicle on East 9th

Around 8:00 this morning, Sedalia police took a vandalism complaint from a male victim in the 1100 block of East 9th. According to the victim, someone shattered the rear window of his vehicle parked in the alley behind the residence sometime overnight. The police report state the window was shattered by what appeared to be a BB. There were no suspects at the time of that report.

Vandals break an apartment window in the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court

At 5:30 this morning, a victim in the 300 block of Scott Joplin Court reported the back window of her apartment had been broken out sometime overnight. There was no information on a possible suspect in the police report.
