Three people arrested in an assault case Sunday afternoon

At 3:00 Sunday afternoon, Sedalia police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of West 2nd on an assault report. Upon arrival, a female subject told the officers her parents had attacked her. The parents told officers their daughter had attacked the mother. The police report then states the mother and daughter began to fight again and all three suspects were arrested. At the time of the police report, 45-year-old Scott Manion, 45-year-old Belinda Manion, and 23-year-old Heather Manion were in the Pettis County Jail pending $533.50 bond each on charges of assault.

Subject check on Sunday evening results in arrest for a 34-year-old Sedalia man

Around 5:50 Sunday evening, Sedalia police reportedly recognized a passenger in a vehicle parked at a store in the 700 block of East Broadway. Upon contact with the suspect, 34-year-old Noah Mitchell of Sedalia, the warrant out of Pettis County was confirmed. Mitchell was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $5000 bond on the warrant for felony stealing.

Suspicious male subject arrested in the area of 17th and Osage this (Monday) morning

At 4:45 this (Monday) morning, Sedalia police observed a man acting in a suspicious manner in the area of 17th and Osage. When the suspect, 20-year-old Dray Perry, was contacted, he was found to be in possession of K-2, a controlled substance. At the time of the police report, Perry was on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending the filing of driving while revoked, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

Several theft complaints investigated on Sunday 

A female victim reported her 2003 GMC Envoy stolen from the 400 block of Albright Court Sunday morning. There were no suspects at news time.

Sunday afternoon, an Otterville female complainant reported two thumb drives, an MP3 player, and several CDs were stolen from her vehicle parked in the 1300 block of South Osage.

A female victim in the 1000 block of South Vermont reported a passenger side window and a side mirror were damaged on her vehicle. The victim was able to give the police information on the suspect according to the police report.
